In what has to be record time for a branded firmware update, British network Three has started pushing out its branded version of the 1.78 firmware for the HTC One S. This is the latest software update which began rolling out on unbranded One S phones last week. As we mentioned at the time, this update seems to remove some instances of the pesky virtual menu button in certain Google apps, in addition to fixing the ongoing Wifi wonkiness that's been affecting some HTC One phones.
The update weighs in at around 58MB, and includes a brand new kernel and radio too, if you're interested in that stuff. If you're rocking a One S on Three UK, head to Settings -> About phone -> Software updates to pick up the latest update.
